Terms of Service
Effective date: August 31, 2026
Welcome to SocialCredit. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and SocialCredit LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("SocialCredit," "we," "us"), governing your use of socialcreditapp.com and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What SocialCredit Is
SocialCredit is a consumer review and accountability platform. Users who have purchased products or services from online creators and educators can submit reviews of their experience. We display those reviews, community ratings, and data derived from them, including the SocialCredit Score, to help buyers make informed decisions.
SocialCredit is an informational service. Reviews reflect the opinions and reported experiences of the individual users who submit them, not the views of SocialCredit. The SocialCredit Score is SocialCredit's evaluative assessment, generated through a standardized methodology applied to verified buyer review data. Scores represent our interpretation of the information available to us and may change as new information becomes available. A score is not an objectively verifiable determination that any creator is trustworthy, untrustworthy, legitimate, fraudulent, or otherwise deserving of any particular characterization. Nothing on the Service is a recommendation to purchase from, or avoid, any creator, and nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal, or professional advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide at signup, for maintaining the security of your login credentials, and for all activity under your account. One account per person. You may not create accounts using false identities, on behalf of another person, or for the purpose of evading a prior suspension or ban. Notify us at team@socialcreditapp.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Reviews and Other Content You Submit
Truthfulness. Every review you submit must reflect your genuine, first-hand experience as an actual purchaser or participant. You may not submit reviews that are fabricated, secondhand, paid for, incentivized by a creator, or submitted on someone else's behalf. You may not review a product or creator you have a competing or financial interest in without disclosing it. You represent that you have the right to submit all content and evidence you provide, and you may not submit material that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights. Submitting content or evidence to SocialCredit does not create any confidential, fiduciary, or other special relationship between you and SocialCredit.
Verified reviews. To submit a Verified Buyer review, you must provide proof of purchase, such as a payment receipt or order confirmation. We review submitted proof before publishing. "Verified" means our team reviewed documentation consistent with a real purchase; it is not a guarantee of the accuracy of every statement in the review. Proof of purchase and any supporting evidence you submit must be authentic, unaltered, and your own. Submitting forged, edited, or misappropriated documentation is a material violation of these Terms and may result in immediate removal of your reviews and permanent termination of your account.
Community reviews. Community reviews are submitted without proof of purchase. They are clearly labeled as unverified, represent only the opinion and claimed experience of the submitter, and are not used to generate SocialCredit Scores. All other content rules in these Terms apply equally to Community reviews.
Ownership and license. You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant SocialCredit a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, excerpt, aggregate, and create derivative works from that content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Service, including generating scores, statistics, and aggregated insights.
Permanence. Consistent with our pro-consumer commitment, published reviews generally remain part of the permanent review record and do not expire or become removable merely because they are negative, unfavorable, or disputed by a creator. Creators cannot pay SocialCredit to edit, suppress, or remove reviews. SocialCredit may remove, restrict, anonymize, or otherwise moderate content in accordance with these Terms, our moderation processes, or applicable law. If you delete your account, your published reviews may remain on the Service in anonymized form, disassociated from your public profile.
Moderation. We may approve, reject, or remove any content at our discretion, before or after publication. We do not rewrite or substantively edit user content; moderation decisions are approve, reject, or remove. We are under no obligation to publish any submission.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews, votes, or reports, or manipulate ratings or scores in any way
- Post content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that discloses another person's private information (including home addresses, phone numbers, or financial account details)
- Impersonate any person, misrepresent your affiliation, or submit content on behalf of a creator whether to praise or to attack
- Upload malicious code, attempt to probe or breach the Service's security, or access data not intended for you
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect content or data from the Service without our written permission
- Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of any third party
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and, where appropriate, cooperation with law enforcement or affected parties.
6. Creators and Third Parties
Creator profiles on SocialCredit are informational listings compiled for consumer-review purposes. A creator's presence on the Service does not imply any affiliation, partnership, or endorsement between that creator and SocialCredit. Factual profile information (such as offerings and public social handles) is compiled from public sources; reviews and ratings are user-submitted content.
If you are a creator listed on the Service, you may contact us at team@socialcreditapp.com regarding factual inaccuracies in profile information. Reviews themselves are governed by Section 4 and our moderation process; we do not remove reviews at a creator's request except through that process. Creators may also submit a good-faith challenge to specific review content they believe violates these Terms, by identifying the content, explaining the factual basis for the challenge, and providing any supporting documentation. We may investigate, request further documentation, and retain, restrict, or remove content at our discretion. Submitting a challenge does not guarantee removal, and removal cannot be purchased. The Service may contain links to third-party websites or platforms; SocialCredit is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, scoring methodology, and software, is owned by SocialCredit LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as these Terms allow. "SocialCredit" and associated marks may not be used without our written permission.
8. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to team@socialcreditapp.com including: identification of the copyrighted work, the URL of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature. We will respond to valid notices, including removing content where appropriate. If your content was removed in response to a copyright notice and you believe the removal was mistaken, you may send a counter-notification to the same address including: identification of the removed material and its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, your name, address, and telephone number, a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or for Palm Beach County, Florida, if you are outside the United States), and your physical or electronic signature. We may restore content in response to a valid counter-notification unless the original complainant notifies us that it has filed a court action. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT REVIEWS, SCORES, OR ANY OTHER CONTENT ON THE SERVICE ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT, THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PURCHASING DECISION MADE IN RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME. YOU USE THE SERVICE, AND MAKE ANY PURCHASING DECISIONS, AT YOUR OWN RISK.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOCIALCREDIT LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SocialCredit LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from content you submit, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any third party's rights.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and SocialCredit each waive any right to a jury trial and agree that any claim may be brought only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding. Any claim must be filed within one year after it arose, or it is permanently barred.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Sections 4 (license and permanence), 7, and 9 through 12 survive termination.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and take reasonable steps to notify users, such as a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
